Trainer's Statement
A lifelong animal lover, Liv has worked professionally with dogs since 2007 as a groomer, walker, daycare manager, and most importantly, as a trainer. Their interest in training was peaked in 2011 when they took an intensive two month course on canine body language and force-free handling with Turid Rugaas, and they’ve been obsessed with all things behavior ever since! Liv began working as a professional dog trainer in 2013, and works with clients on everything from puppy socialization to aggression.
Liv strongly believes education is an ongoing process, and constantly seeks out opportunities to expand their knowledge in order to offer clients the best information available. Dr. Susan Friedman defines a relationship as “a shared history of reinforcement,” which is precisely what Liv strives to build for their service dog teams!
