Meet Our New Atlas Certified Trainer

A great big congratulations to Ellen, who has just completed our Trainer Academy and is now an Atlas Certified Trainer!

A person with red hair is joyfully interacting with two large, shaggy dogs in a forest. They are sitting on a stone ledge, surrounded by trees and grass, enjoying the natural setting.

Here is what Ellen has shared with us about her experience with the program:

I am incredibly excited to have completed the Atlas Trainer Academy! When I discovered Atlas, I was eager to connect with a program that aligned so well with my passions: one with a compassionate dedication to serving both people and dogs, and a focus on effective and creative training rooted in positive reinforcement approaches. The program was in-depth, thought provoking and provided a great foundation in what it takes to help a service dog team succeed! I am very excited to move forward in service dog training and help clients connect with a dog and a relationship that can literally change their life.

Lottie's Journey Monthly Update

A woman in a purple jacket stands in a field, holding a leash attached to a seated brown dog. They face a black horse standing behind a wire fence. Trees and hills are visible in the background on a sunny day.
Here is your monthly Lottie update! Boy has Lottie been making progress. She has been learning plenty of new cues and skills, explored many novel places such as elevators and airports, and she even got to meet some horses! We couldn’t be more proud of this sweet girl, and more grateful to her wonderful puppy raiser for all her hard work and dedication.
In this video, Lottie is learning to get into the bucket with the goal for her to curl up into it. Service dogs need to know how to fit into tight spaces such as under chairs or airplane seats. Starting out with a bucket or a box is a great way to build up to this skill.

Congratulations to Gwen and Momo!

We are thrilled to announce that a new amazing team has successfully completed our Client Certification Program. A great big congratulations to Gwen and Momo for all their hard work and becoming an Atlas Certified Team.

Isn’t Momo just the cutest?
