Trainer's Statement

I specialize in service dog prospect placement and training and aligning and incorporating these as part of the individual’s treatment as well as day-to-day mitigation of disabilities. To accomplish this, I maintain close alignment and collaboration with the individual’s medical team, including therapist, psychiatrist, and any other relevant medical providers. Incorporating service dog training and work as a part of treatment can be especially powerful for individuals with trauma disorders to help improve the individual’s quality of life and independence with the potential of even reaching remission.

I utilize a holistic approach focused on creating and building effective and efficient communication and trust between the handler and their dog by employing tailored training plans which include coaching, advisory, and support methods utilizing exclusively non-aversive tools and techniques.

100% virtual or a combination of virtual and in-person services and training plans are available for clients located outside the greater Austin, TX area (domestic and international).
